These Terms govern your access to and use of Onto Connect (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Accounts and Access
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable policies (including WhatsApp/Meta policies, where relevant).
Acceptable Use
- Do not attempt to access data that is not intended for you (including other tenants).
- Do not misuse the Service (e.g., sending spam, abusive content, or violating recipient consent requirements).
Service Availability
We aim to keep the Service available, but it may be interrupted due to maintenance, third-party dependencies, or events beyond our control.
Meta / WhatsApp Message Delivery Failures
Onto Connect submits messages to Meta / WhatsApp using the configured WhatsApp Business Platform account. Meta / WhatsApp controls final message acceptance, routing, and delivery.
A submitted WhatsApp message can fail because of Meta / WhatsApp delivery rules, platform controls, account conditions, message conditions, or recipient conditions, including:
- 131049 - Ecosystem engagement control: Meta / WhatsApp chose not to deliver the message to maintain healthy ecosystem engagement. This is Meta / WhatsApp's own marketing-delivery control.
- 131026 - Message undeliverable: Meta / WhatsApp marked the message as undeliverable because the recipient number is not on WhatsApp, the recipient blocked the business, the recipient is in a restricted or sanctioned country, the recipient has not accepted the latest WhatsApp / Meta terms, the recipient uses an old WhatsApp version, or the recipient cannot receive that message type.
- 130472 - Meta experiment: Meta / WhatsApp did not send the message because that recipient number is part of a Meta experiment.
- 131048 - Spam rate limit: Meta / WhatsApp stopped or limited delivery because of spam, quality, or user feedback controls.
- 131056 - Business and recipient pair rate limit: Meta / WhatsApp limited messages between the business account and that recipient.
- 130429 - Rate limit: Meta / WhatsApp limited sending because the platform, business account, phone number, or app reached a rate limit.
- 131047 - Re-engagement window: Meta / WhatsApp rejected a non-template message because the allowed customer service window was closed.
- 130497 - Country restriction: Meta / WhatsApp blocked messaging because the business account or recipient country is restricted.
- 131031 - Account locked: Meta / WhatsApp blocked messaging because the WhatsApp Business account, phone number, or related Meta account is locked or restricted.
- 368 - Policy block: Meta / WhatsApp blocked messaging because of policy enforcement or platform integrity controls.
- 131042 - Payment issue: Meta / WhatsApp blocked sending because the WhatsApp Business account has a payment, billing, or eligibility issue.
- Template or media rejection: Meta / WhatsApp rejected the message because the template is paused, disabled, rejected, incorrectly formatted, sent in the wrong language, missing required parameters, contains unsupported media, exceeds media limits, or does not match the approved template.
These failures are based on Meta / WhatsApp delivery rules, platform controls, account conditions, message conditions, and recipient conditions. They are not caused by Onto Connect after the message has been successfully submitted to Meta / WhatsApp.
